3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari

This 3 Days gorilla safari offers a great opportunity to trek the African mountain gorillas twice in Rwanda. You can trek the same or different gorilla family. This is a life time adventure in the true African Wilderness and below is this safaris itinerary

Day One: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes national park
Upon arrival, you will be received by your driver/guide from the airport, and drive to Ruhengeri; passing through Gorilla safari to Rwanda’s spectacular well terraced hills, with the view of the peaks of the Virunga Mountains. You will check in Kinigi Guest house (budget), La Palme hotel (mid range) or Gorillas nest (luxury) for dinner and overnight and food here is on F/B

Day Two: Gorilla tracking expedition
Early in the morning, wake up and transfer to the park headquarters to catch up with the briefing by 8:30am, before beginning the adventurous trek. You will have to move with the necessary trekking gear and parked lunch, as the tracking takes you through steep and slippery floor, and it may take 2-6 hours, depending on the movement of the animals in their natural environment. A maximum of one hour will be allowed with the Gorillas. After the encounter, descend to the headquarters, and have an evening cultural walk, where you will be entertained by the Banyarwanda. Then return to your hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day Three: Primate trekking and transfer to back Kigali
Wake up very early in the morning and have a relaxed break fast and then set off to the forest to track various primates like the golden monkeys, the baboons, and many others. Descend to the Lodge and prepare for the trip back to Kigali and thereafter to the airport for your flight if at all it is there that very day and this will mark the end of the safari.
